These are the people who contribute to the website:
- John & Sue Soo
- tell us about Stanford recruits in their senior year of high school, so that we know them when they appear at Maples. With six recruits signed up, John & Sue really have their work cut out for them this season.
- Bob Kinder
- keeps us up to date all season on what's going on in the Pac-10. Bob is also reporting on our future Pac-12 additions and on USF this season.
- Dana Stewart
- reports on the FBC's fund-raising activities — the auction and shoot-around. She also entertains us with a wide variety of thoughts about SWBB. You never know what to expect from Dana.
- Judy Richter
- has brought professional journalism to the website. She attends and reports on all SWBB events. Judy also conducts interviews with many people associated with SWBB.
- Christine Forter and Don Fidler
- have conducted intensive video interviews of SWBB alumnae in past seasons. We hope to have more of these in the future.
- Amy Tucker
- manages the Team Blog. She sees to it that each team member and some staff members contribute to the blog each week of the season.
- Deb Gumbley, from the floor
Baranduin Briggs and Steve Mitchel, from the stands - are contributing wonderful photos of Cardinal games. It's great to have game photos in the website again!
- Dave Cortesi
- supplies FBC members with all they need to know about traveling to away games. Dave also provides technical support for the website, solving tricky html problems and correcting photo deficiencies.
- Wally Mersereau
- provided entertaining reports of his travels to the Utah and Gonzaga games this season. We would welcome reports of future away games from Wally or any other FBC traveler.
- Marian Cortesi
- writes the "Stories of the Season" and "Alumnae News" blogs and maintains the website.
- Cyd Crampton
- writes the acerbic opponent previews and basketball rules clarifications that appear in the FBC weekly newsletter,
- Bob Stevens
- created the website in 2005. He provides the hosting of the website and is involved in its management.

Congratulations, Marian. It is a terrific site. We Stanford fans are very lucky for your dedication and talent. Your reach for the same excellence that the team strives for serves Stanford fans extremely well!
ReplyDeleteI too love the website, check on it every day during the season just to be sure I'm not missing something. One suggestion, though. Last season, there was a "Jayne watch" section. I'd really like to see one for Kayla. She's heading for a lots of records, and I think she deserves the spotlight.
ReplyDeleteI'll add a "Kayla Watch" soon and a "Nneka Watch" next season.
ReplyDeleteThanks to all of you who contribute. It's a great web site. Lot's of fun.
ReplyDeleteGreat information Marian. Thanks so much - I really rely on the FBC site. We are sooooo lucky. Thanks also to all the contributors to FBC.
