Honors for Tara and Jeanette

With more than 800 wins, two NCAA titles, eight trips to the Final Four and a 1996 Olympic gold medal to her credit, Tara became one of 12 finalists for basketball’s highest honor Friday, nominated to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Read more in:

A finalist needs 18 of 24 votes from the Honors Committee for election into the Basketball Hall of Fame. When Tara reminded Kayla that it's just a nomination, Kayla responded, “It’ll happen coach!”
