In a vote of the league's 10 head coaches, CALIFORNIA sophomore forward/center Devanei Hampton has been named the 2006-07 Pacific-10 Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Year and STANFORD's Jayne Appel has been named Pac-10 Freshman of the Year.
