The Stanford Athletic Department continues its review of Tara's coaching career. In the second installment Tara returns to Ohio State as head coach of the varsity team and, in her fifth season, leads the Buckeyes to the NCAA Elite 8. She transfers to Stanford in 1985 and, in her fifth season there, leads the Cardinal to the NCAA Championship.
In another tribute to Tara, Dick Baker (The Republican) writes about Tara's family ties to Springfield, Massachusetts where she will return on Friday for her induction into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.
