With a 3-pointer by Bonnie and then one by Karlie, the Cardinal took the lead for good with four minutes left in the first half. But the Aggies kept up their oppressive defense and a spirited offense. The Cardinal victory was not secure until a 3-pointer by Bonnie increased the lead to 12 with three minutes left in the game.
That last 3-pointer was Bonnie's sixth one of the day. She's made that many four times before, but this is the first time she's added a jumper, a layup, and eight free throws for a grand total of 30 points (nine points more than her previous career high).
The sharp shooting wasn't Bonnie's only contribution to the win. She also tallied five rebounds, two steals and one block.
Kaylee had a good game in the paint with eleven points and eleven rebounds — the second double-double of her career. She made five of her nine field goal attempts.
Karlie found success beyond the arc too. She made three of her four attempts.
