Her length-of-the-court sprint and layup in 4.4 seconds beat the final buzzer, lifting Stanford past Xavier 55-53 in the Sacramento Regional Final and into the NCAA Final Four. Later that evening, and for the next couple days, Pohlen's incredible shot ruled the airwaves and ran repeatedly on local and national highlight shows. The junior from Brea, Calif., played all 40 minutes in the win over Xavier, scoring five points, grabbing six rebounds and passing out four assists.
