Another quick start and strong finish pushed Team USA within one win of its ultimate goal. They defeated Chile 98-28 in their medal semifinal game.
The win puts the USA in the gold medal game against Brazil, a 50-49 winner over Canada in the other medal semfinal, at 5:45 p.m. tomorrow.
For the third time in this competition, Chiney led the USA in scoring with 17 points.
