USA Basketball announced today that Chiney is one of 16 finalists competing for 12 spots on the USA Women's U18 National Team.
The final, 12-player team will be announced early next week after several additional practice sessions. When Chiney was asked what she needed to do to make the final cut, she said, "Keep working hard, do all the little things that matter. Do the things that the coaches say, be coachable and play hard."
