Tigers looking forward to another shot at the best

The Pacific women's basket-ball team will play the No. 1 team in the country for the third consecutive season today, this time taking the short trip to Palo Alto to face the empire coach Tara VanDerveer has built in 34 seasons at Stanford.

"This is an awesome experience as a player, because that's what you dream about doing, playing the top competition," senior guard Erica McKenzie said. "It's going to put our team to the test, and it should help us later in the season."
