Cardinal Big Three are finalists for Wooden Award

The John R. Wooden Award Committee has announced the student-athletes named to the final John R. Wooden Award National Ballot. The ballot has been sent out to nearly 1,000 members of the media who cover college basketball. The Women’s 2010 Wooden Award All-American Team and Player of the Year, presented annually to the nation’s top collegiate female basketball player, will be announced during "Elite Eight" week.

The Cardinal Big Three — Pac-10 Player of the Year Jeanette Pohlen, returning Wooden All American Nnemkadi Ogwumike, and standout forward Kayla Pedersen — are among the 20 finalists
