Wade Trophy
The Wade Trophy represents the best of women's collegiate basketball. It is awarded annually to the greatest female basketball player in the country who not only excels athletically, but serves as a positive role model both on and off the court.Jeanette, Kayla and Nneka are three of 32 candidates on the watch list.
The watch list will be trimmed to 12 finalists in mid-March, and the winner will be announced during the NCAA Final Four weekend.
Naismith Trophy
The Women's Naismith Trophy presented by AT&T is awarded annually to the women's college player of the year.Jeanette, Kayla and Nneka are three of 30 midseason candidates.
The trophy will be awarded on April 4, 2011 between the NCAA semifinal and championship games.
Wooden Award
The John R. Wooden Award is presented annually to the outstanding collegiate basketball Player of the Year, who is selected from the five-player John R. Wooden Award All American Team.Kayla and Nneka are two of 20 players on the midseason top 20 list.
The All American Team will be announced during the “Elite Eight” round of the NCAA Tournament. The Wooden Award winner will be announced at a ceremony on April 8, 2011.
Lowe's Senior CLASS Award
The Lowe's Senior CLASS Women's Award is presented annually to an NCAA Division I female senior basketball player who excels both on and off the court, based on personal qualities that define a complete student athlete.Kayla is one of ten candidates on the final women's ballot.
The winner will be announced during the NCAA Final Four weekend.
Nancy Lieberman Award
The Nancy Lieberman Award honors the women's basketball point guard of the year. The criteria for the award are the floor leadership, play-making and ball-handling skills that personified Hall of Famer, Nancy Lieberman during her career.Jeanette is one of 11 candidates on the final nominee list.
Three finalists and the winner will be announced during the NCAA Final Four weekend.
