Cardinal dominates the Wildcats

This one was easier. The Wildcats were not overly-aggressive; they let the Cardinal to do what it likes to do — smother its opponents and make lots of baskets. Stanford 91, Arizona 61.

The Cardinal did so many good things today:

All five starters scored in double-digits — Jeanette 17, Kayla 14, Lindy 14 (her career-high), Nneka 11, Chiney 11.

Nneka had the only double-double (11 points and 14 rebounds).

Jeanette hit five 3-pointers; Lindy hit four (which tied her career-high); Sara, Toni and Grace each hit one — for a grand total and season-high of twelve!

The team made 30 field goals at a rate of 50%.

The team had 20 assists — eight by Jeanette and at least one by seven other players.

Kayla has now started more games than any other player in Stanford history — one more than Candice.
