After a slow start and a 10-8 lead by the Jackrabbits, the Cardinal put the game away with a 29-6 run. The Jackrabbits got their offense going after the break and won the second half by one point. Final score: Stanford 80, SDSU 60.
The Cardinal returns home for finals week. Welcome the team back to Maples Saturday after next (December 14) in its game against Gonzaga and join in the celebration of Tara's epic 900 wins.
The tournament runs for another day, but since each of the other four teams has lost at least once, Stanford was awarded the championship trophy today ...
