Stanford vs Arizona State
A sluggish slugfest with lots of turnovers, lots of fouls (some called, some not), long-g-g-g possessions. The Cardinal attempted only 51 field goals today (they average 65) and made just 29.4% of them., They made zero from beyond the arc. Somehow they survived all that and defeated the Wildcats 52-43.
That's the fewest points the Cardinal have scored this season. They were held to under 50 just one other time – by UConn.
The sisters saved the day with a double-double apiece. Nneka had 24 points, 12 rebound, four assists, two blocks and three steals. Chiney had 12 points, 13 rebounds and a steal.

The Cougars continued today where they left off yesterday – full of energy and confidence.
They pitted their offense against the Bears' defense successfully for almost 32 minutes — the score was tied with 7:43 left to play.
Then the Cougars ran out of gas and succumbed to the Bears' superior defense (they were out-rebounded 49-16), and the Bears won 64-49.
