Stanford's Tara VanDerveer is one of 10 finalists for USBWA national coach of the year honors (UConn's Geno Auriemma is not one of the 10, by the way), and, heading into Sunday's regular-season finale at Cal, you can make a pretty good case that VanDerveer deserves to win the award.
